I had sooo many mixed feelings when I read the part where Kurda killed Gav!!! I was like, "NOOOO KURDA YOU SON OF A B***H!!!!" Lol, in my MIND I was saying that...Then I was like, "NONONONONONONONONONOOOOOOOO HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN!!! I LOVE KURDA HE'S SO SWEET AND AWESOME AND I AGREE WITH LIKE EVERYTHING HE SAYS HOW COULD HE KILL GAVNER??!!! THAT JERKWAD!!! NOOOOOOO GAVNER CAN'T DIE!!!!! I DON'T CARE IF ARRA DIES LATER ON BUT GAVNER IS LIKE MY FRIGGIN 2ND FAVE VAMPIRE, WAS GONNA BE MY VERY FAVE ONE SINCE LARTEN DIES BUT WHO'S GONNA BE MY FAVE NOW, HUH?"

Lol it was pretty interesting that all that was going on in my head cause I was in study hall and close to tears reading that and Cody was like, "Beth, (thats what I'm called at home and school) are you okay? You look really mad and upset at the same time."
I replied, "Cocy, I AM mad and sad at the same time."
He was like, "Oh, well it's time to go." So I gloomily boarded the school bus and sat with a blank look on my face, ignoring my cd player until I got home where I went to my room and cried like an idiot because Kurda turned out to be a jerk and Gav got killed...by Kurda. I ignored that book for days. And I know I'll do the same when I read Larten's death.

I wasn't even warned by my big brother, who read the series before I started them and got me hooked on them early this past April 2008. He usually spoiled everything for me and when he spoils deaths it usually isn't so hard on me. But when I confronted him about Gav's death he said he forgot and that I told him to stop spoiling stuff anyway. ...I was pretty mixed up for awhile and just when I got sorted out I had to go and read part of Larten's death when I'm only just finishing the 7th book....Stupid me.
